G.L.O.W. is founded in Milan, with the aim of creating an international network of research galleries, running on contemporary art. The network's ambition is to promote one's own artists, conferring them and to related galleries a major place on contemporary art scene worldwide. Contemporary art field is affected, as all other business fields, by current economical and financial trends. Elements of complexity and uncertainty beside the managing of decisions and marketing relations are visible also in this field. Accentuated by the belonging of art on one side to the economy of luxury products, on the other to the one of culture, theses elements return to professionals the clear conscience to operate inside a liquid society (Z. Bauman), in other words: a multiform, elusive society in continuous redefinition. Therefore, the implementation of a constant process of understanding and updating the reality one interacts with is particularly needed. This would be a process necessary to endow with the adequate knowledge and the capability to operate in the art field innovating, promoting risk-taking programs, and affording research. According to this situation, G.L.O.W. presents itself as the right platform for networking, with the aim of being efficient in the continuous feedback of information and ideas, serving as a panel of confrontation between galleries' managers and as a valid structure of active collaboration...
